Domestic Discoveries
I have a tendency to treat photography as something I do "over there". An activity which requires me to travel or seek out a subject, and as such it is something I don't always find time for.
As a reminder to myself, these photos demonstrate that a subject can be sitting right in front of you - on your table or couch - you need only be willing to see the opportunities for what they are.

This was shot with a 600mm Sigma telephoto lens cranked to its maximum magnification at its minimum focus distance - giving the exquisite soft focus you see and helping the colour of this rose petal soap pop against the neutral background.
